Context

LivingCare needed to stand up a national COVID-19 testing service at the height of the pandemic: booking, identity verification, swab tracking, secure lab exchange, results and certificates - all live in days, not months.

Role

Designed, built and stood up the platform end to end. Led the pathway design, integrations with the lab, the commercial model and the operational rollout across five sites.

Outcomes

• Live in days from a standing start - tens of thousands of patients processed.
• Five operational sites, national travel-testing programme and certificate delivery.
• £7m+ revenue for the business during the programme.
• Pathway and automation kept error rates low even under load.
